Device Condition

The end result of a successful data recovery is to have all data from the damaged device transferred to a new storage device, not to restore the original device to a reliable working condition.

Once recovery is complete, we will return your original device to you in its current condition. In some cases, due to the recovery process, the device may appear to be functional but should be assumed to be in a highly unstable condition. It should never be used again, especially as a reliable storage device.

We suggest storing it instead of disposing of it since in a catastrophic situation another recovery may be able to be performed on it.

Device Shipment Risks

Please take care to pack your device according to our shipping instructions. We are not responsible for any damage that happens while your device is in transit.

Abandoned Devices

Unless other arrangements have been made, if payment is not received within 30 days after completion of an authorized recovery, the device is considered abandoned and will be recycled or used for parts at our discretion.

Illegal Content

During the normal course of data verification, if we encounter content that can reasonably assumed to be related to acts of terrorism or sexual exploitation of a minor, we will immediately contact local law enforcement.
